Another Magical Refresh: Welcome to Main Street Library! ✨

New Name, Same Creator, Just Tweaking My Direction

Exciting News: Figment Archives is now Main Street Library! This name change reflects a shift in focus for me as I dive deeper into my work as a librarian and researcher.

Here’s what Main Street Library will be focusing on:

• Books: My recommendations, reviews, and curated lists of Disney history-related books and resources.

• Research: A look at how I conduct my research, uncover new materials, and explore how Disney history is preserved across various institutions, including archives, libraries, and even the parks. I’ll share what I’m learning and how it shapes my growing library of Disney history resources. I’m still doing research on The Walt Disney Studio Research Library too, so I’ll still be sharing updates about this work with you all!

• Building My Library: As I curate and build my personal collection of Disney history books, maps, ephemera, and other materials, I’ll give you an inside look at my process, acquisitions, and the significance of these items. This is all about preserving Disney’s legacy through thoughtful curation and sharing it with others.

I’m so excited for this new(ish) direction and to continue sharing my journey with you all. Thank you so much for following along and your patience as I’ve worked through figuring out what I want to do with this online space.
